💡 Ask clear questions
Tell us your specific goal, what you're trying to achieve,
and what you’ve already tried.
Instead of: “How’s this price?”
Try: “I’m launching a 10-piece collection of A3 originals. Here’s my audience size and income goal. I’ve used your calculator and got £290, but I’m unsure about how size vs. time spent should be factored.”
Why it matters:
We want to help you — and the more context you give, the more useful our responses can be.
📌 Keep it focused
Please post one core question per post,
not a bundle of 3–4 mixed ones.
Why? Because it gets overwhelming fast — both for you and for those reading.
Plus, you’re more likely to get great answers when it’s clear what you’re asking.
🚫 No links or promos in your post
To keep the Q&A space clear and helpful for everyone, please don’t share links to your own website, shop, or social pages on the Q&A feed.
Instead:
- Add those to your community profile — that’s where members are encouraged to connect with your work.
- When sharing work for feedback, upload a screen shot or short screen share (under three minutes) directly into your post.
Why this matters:
This space is for genuine growth & support - not self-promotion. Keeping it that way helps artists feel safe to be honest, stuck, and vulnerable.
💬 Stay open to feedback
The best advice often challenges your current beliefs.
We’ll always be kind — but that doesn’t mean we’ll always agree. That’s part of growth.
🧠 Be mindful of the space
This is a shared feed. Reposting the same question, tagging multiple times a day, or starting many new threads can crowd the space and slow things down for everyone.
Instead:
Use the comments on your post to follow up. I read everything — I promise.
🔍 Avoid vagueness or generalisations
Things like “How do I sell more art?” or “What should I change about my work?” are too broad to answer well.
Instead:
Zoom in. Try: “I’m getting a good Email Open Rate, but people aren't clicking through. Here's a screen shot, can you see what might be missing?”
🐌 Be patient
I usually respond within 2 working days (Monday–Friday).
Please don’t tag me twice — I won’t miss it, I just do deep work and batch replies.
🪄 Final tip
If you're nervous, scroll through recent posts first. You’ll see real artists, asking real things — no one’s perfect.
Just start.
